Fatehpur Sikri Royal Palace & Fort
One of the 100s of forts & palaces built by the Moghuls in the 16th & 17th centuries. The above was built in 12 years - 1570-1582. Like many kings of the time, this king had 3 wives - 1 Hindu, 1 Muslim & 1 Christian. Like all such forts, it contained palaces and a mosque. Top pic is of the king's palace inside the fort. Middle pic is of building where king would meet with his 8 ministers. Bottom pic is of the main entrance to the mosque within the fort <-- said to be the largest, highest mosque entrance gate in the world!
