Hey all!First day in Ho Chi Minh City has been overwhelming - people, sights, heat and emotions. Monday (our Labor Day) was VN's National Day, hence a scarcity of hotel rooms.
People are great - friendly, not overbearing, few hawkers, very willing to help!
Walked bout 6+ miles today in heat - and hoppefully lost as many pounds. I'm amazed at how clean streets are - no trash, not even cigarette butts, anywhere!
Was also surprised to find many cafes, other interior locales do not allow smoking!
